Associate Veterinarian
Job Description
Well-established 3-doctor ambulatory practice is looking for an associate as one of our doctors will be moving out of the area in March 2010. This is a part-time (currently 12-14 days/month) with the possibility of full-time (as the economy improves) position starting April 2010. Monterey County Equine, Inc. is a progressive, fully-equipped ambulatory practice serving the beautiful Monterey Bay area. We have digital radiography (Eklin), ultrasound, upper airway endoscopy, and power dental equipment (Powerfloat). We take pride in practicing high quality, compassionate care for our patients which are a mix of western and english performance, ranch, trail, and pleasure horses. We also work on small ruminants and cattle (occasionally). The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, an outgoing personality with a willingness to communicate with and educate clients, a desire to practice high quality medicine, and an interest in a long-term position. Salary is based on experience (new grads are welcome to apply). Part-time benefits negotiable.
