Job Description
East Coast Equine Veterinary Service is a growing equine ambulatory service located in rural Northwest NJ. We are approximately 30 minutes from the USET foundation headquarters, Hamilton Farm, in Gladstone, 45 minutes to a local ski resort, and 1 hour from both New York City and the NJ shore. Our services include sports medicine, reproductive work, and preventative medicine. We are outfitted with digital radiography, digital ultrasounds, endoscopy, power dentistry, IRAP, stem cell, in field computer systems, and excellent support staff. Our clientele include pleasure horses to performance horses in a variety of disciplines.
East Coast Equine Veterinary Service was established in 2007 with the purchased of the equine fraction of Tranquility Large Animal. During our first year we significantly increased our client base and upgraded our services to include Eklin 's digital radiography and computers systems, in field laptops, digital ultrasound, IRAP, stem cell therapy, and a veterinarian assistant. In addition, we offer power dentistry and endoscopy services. Our future goal is to build a facility that is capable of handling more in-house patients and surgeries.
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled equine practitioner to fill a part or full time position. Benefits include medical, CE, paid sick leave, vacation, liability coverage, licenses & professional dues. New associated will be provided with a fully equipped vehicle and assistant if desired. Salary/commission will be commensurable with experience. On call duties are flexible.
